Is this a serious study of how artists have depicted the kiss over the centuries? No, it’s a saucy ‘how-to’ about snogging, from long before the internet explained it all with a few billion diverting tutorials. Book collecting embraces all tastes from the serious to the superficial and it doesn’t get much sillier than ‘How to Kiss Girls With Different Sizes of Mouths.’ In fact the bizarre chapter headings are so good I’ve shown them in a separate photo. So which one would make the best name for an album? My favourite has to be ‘Approved Methods of Kissing’, but only because A Certain Ratio used ‘Electric Kissing Parties’ for their third album.
